Special Olympics

In cooperation with the Illinois State Special Olympics program, Rolling Hills athletes participate and compete in sports, such as bowling, track & field, soccer, and basketball. Benefits of this program enable individuals to improve their physical health, social skills, and the chance to be part of a team and maybe even a sports star!

Group Outings

Rolling Hills plans and coordinates periodic group outings into the community. The outings range in size and scope, such as a small group visit to a local park or a trip to see a professional baseball game for the entire work center.

All RHPC group outings are intended to provide the individual with an opportunity to enjoy area recreational activities and facilities in the immediate area and nearby parts of the state. Individuals are enabled to learn how to access the community in practical and appropriate ways.
