Long time client worker Eric Challenger died suddenly in early September. Eric had been part of the RHPC family for 25 years and was known for his great personality, hard work and his Special Olympic participation. In Eric’s memory, a special program was held on Thursday, October 18 (Eric’s birthday) in the Plant #1 cafeteria. Eric’s parents Ed and Theresa and his brother Mark were present along with 50 of his close friends for a time of sharing, presentations (including a plaque honoring Ed for his 25 years of Special Olympic coaching), refreshments and to wrap up the celebration a balloon release into the skies over Lanark. A few tears were shed, smiles and hugs were shared and we left the celebration with the memory of a great fellow.
